This weekend was no ordinary weekend for me. I participated
in the Gulf Run 24hr karting endurance race that took place in Kuwait
international fair last Friday. The event was sponsored by Watanya, Extreme
sport, and Gulf cables. There were twelve teams competing in this race. Each
team had a minimum of four drivers and a maximum of twelve, plus the team’s
manager. The event organizers were very eager to lead the event to success in
all measures so they hired an expert British crew to manage the race. The
British crew was also responsible for the racing karts damages and maintenance
during the race. Still, maintaining safety was a high priority for the event
organizers. First aid and ambulance was available in case of injuries, and
police officials to make sure nothing goes wrong.
